Thanks to the Spanish publication, Hobby
Consolas, we have some fresh details about the upcoming Zelda title for the GameCube. So here are the new
facts:
-Roughly 70 hours of gameplay
-A gameworld 2-3 times the size of the world featured in Ocarina of Time
-"[Although] Link will be an adult at the start of the adventure, he will also mature little by little, over the
passage of time" (translation from Spanish). Fable, anyone?
-Horseback battles feature both sword and bow fighting; and force players to dodge oncoming attacks, both short- and
long-range; huge, open battlefields
-Similar controller to previous titles; automatic jumping; "Z targeting" to lock onto enemies (that's "L" on the
GameCube controller)
-Hint of a new "subaquatic" world
Zelda (GC) - new info, really!

I love Zelda and am waiting patiently for each game to see how the story line and the legend is transformed from a heart warming story that capture the hearts of many game players to something that we can now give our children to enjoy. I have been playing the games and buying every system only so that I can play the Zelda games I will continue to do so. I cant wait till the new game comes out so I can again enjoy a great game with a story line that never gets boring.
