Early Mario commercial is horrifying

Retro Junk has a great old TV ad for Mario Bros. for the Atari 2600 and Atari 5200 (Atari 5200 graphics shown. Love
it!). I think I remember seeing this thing back in the day. The production value is just astounding(ly bad). Worth a
look if you:
1) Love Mario/Nintendo
2) Want to recall the days of no socks, and pink ties.

I've been visiting Retro Junk for quite a while now... You should all check out the first Zelda commercial... Now that is horrifying...

What is amazing is that the game is such a success DESPITE advertising like this.
Reminds me of the early Zelda commercial rap song.

that has gotta be the dummest thing i have ever seen..................................i would rather bang my head on the pavement than watch that.
