Gamasutra is just plain fun to read. There's always something interesting waiting. Game Post-mortems (that lay out
what went right and wrong during a specific game's development), in-depth interviews, not to mention the GDC coverage
(which is a gift that keeps on giving).
End of plug.
They asked the boys and girls who make the games you and I enjoy, "What are you most looking forward to at this year's
E3?" Okay, truthfully, they only asked the boys, but that's for another post.
The results are surprisingly mainstream. These Game Gods sound like a bunch of nerds! By the end of the too-short
piece you get a nice taste of the sour ("The inevitable row upon row of CRTs and plasmas, filled with all the soulless
faces of this year's crop of well-endowed heroines") to the sugary sweet ("I hope I get to meet lots of cool
people.")
Personally, I fall somewhere in between these guys. I hope I get to meet a lot of cool, well-endowed heroines.
