Every time I think there can't possibly be another MLB 2006 review, another one pops up. (Pun
intended.) The season is a month old, and yet the title is still getting attention everywhere. Curiously, MVP and ESPN
aren't. It seems to be a case of "Dang! We forgot this game! Someone review it, quick!"
As was documented earlier this month, of the three titles
for the Playstation, I dug MLB 2006 the most. Unlike my review, this one tests the online component as well. (I was
unable. No network adaptor unfortunately.)
The reviewer loses a few brownie points by not outright condemning the soundtrack, but that's just a pet peeve of
mine, and I'm more than happy to admit that. I do not wish, nor desire licensed music on my sports games. By that same
token, I do not expect a baseball game when I buy music.
Differences of opinion aside, this is one heck of a deep review. Probably the most in-depth I've seen.
Yet another MLB 2006 review
