Xbox 360's logo doesn't look stupid

The next Xbox's logo (at least one of them) was revealed in pics on
Trixieblog. Her shots of the MTV event show stars walking the green carpet
with a swirling logo in the background. It doesn't appear to be the
awkward, awful one circulating, which is a relief.
This is the best view of the thing that I could find. It looks to be perfectly concentric green circles. Of course,
this is probably one of a number of logos circulating the MS offices, but it's a favorite. Nice and simple.

You can also get Major Nelson's/Larry Hryb's POV on the event. He got to talk to Elijah Wood. I don't think I could have managed that after seeing Sin City. Hey Larry, were his nails cut?

probably the logo keeps spinning in a wierd way with the previous non-concentric thing being a screenshot at some point ...

The concentric logo is a bit flimsy for me, but it will look good animated I'm sure... The xBox/silver sphere w/x seems to be the real new XBox logo, while the 'circles' thing is probably a branding logo for the '360' sub-brand... This makes me think that Microsoft is building xBox as a marque rather than a single box, which would also support the strange assertions that microsoft and developers keep making about supporting two boxes with the same games for the next year or two... If this sounds confusing think 'iPod' as a marque and 'iPod Photo,' 'iPod Shuffle,' and 'iPod Mini' as products... I'm still let down by this logo and the '360' name, but it doesn't really matter - a new gen of game boxes are rolling out! SICK!

In the picture of the cicrles logo if you look closely you can see that there is a faded 'X' in it. Kinda cool.

cmon yall, have some pride in an american made(not really, but yall get the point) product. We should be supporting the U.S. gaming culture. I loved my snes, n64 and ps2, but honestly xbox is the one im playing religiously. i cant possibly expect the next one to be a let-down. it'll be funny to what we're all debating over when the xbox completely rules all.......
and it does look like a tampon. a very seductive tampon.

I'm not american and gaming from US isn't great, not being rude but we should be supporting the company that revolutionised the industry - Nintendo - that's a fact.
I understand you should support gaming in the US but it makes sense to play games that you like. I have respect for other systems - the only good thing I have to say about Xbox is that Perfect Dark Zero is coming to it. If they don't screw it up - I might be more interested.
I don't feel there is anything special about the Xbox. Power is useless if you don't use it properly.
I've given up on using part capitals because it would take too long.
We will see what happens...

You're blind. EVERY game that comes out on multiple platforms is better on Xbox. Better graphics, better features, and a more robust online component.

Thank you. I wasn't railing you on your age. It just hurts my eyes with that caps thing.
I'm speaking of multi platform tittles. The games play essentialy the same across all platforms so game play is a moot point.
SC is an intersting beast. Special characters aside it was better on Xbox. For the reason I stated earlier.
You can call every video game hero a rip off of Samrus. How about Lara Croft and Duke Nukem for example.
I'm not trying to argue with you. I own both an Xbox and PS2. If a game comes out on both I always buy the Xbox one. It's always better. (unless you have a hard on for Link). Just kidding.

Thats funny I have an Xbox and a Gamecube and I always buy on Gamecube. The controller feels nicer and the game loads quicker, I can't tell the difference between their graphics. In fact compare Metroid 2 w/ Halo 2, Metroid easily wins. And how about that RE4.

well..I like the Xbox controller better (the big one) finally, a controller that fits in my hands (I have long fingers)...and the whole exoarmor thing......and military background....its been goin on for so long that I don't think you can claim that it is a ripoff of any one idea (Spawn is much better, whats his face didn't even have a weapon and Link is just cheap)
