I cant even explain what I feel now. That was one of the most stupidest things that I have ever seen.
rasta @ Dec 18th 2005 9:59PM
I want to kill myself....
no wait...
I want to kill them.
seth @ Dec 18th 2005 9:59PM
so very very stupid....Mortal Kombat was never on Nintendo, how stupid can they get :)
asher @ Dec 18th 2005 9:59PM
Hey, I was in an acappella group while attending university and would have killed to sing a good arangment of something like that. Most of what we sang was absolute crap.
Matthew @ Dec 18th 2005 9:59PM
I loved the very end. That made me feel very nostalgic!

"so very very stupid....Mortal Kombat was never on Nintendo, how stupid can they get :)"
they had versions of MK on SNES, N64, gamecube and GBA
but yeah, no NES if that's what you meant

I thought that was great... the mario parts for the most part were kinda lame, not super original (some guy jumps around)
but the tetris part was pretty inspired for it's simplicity and the zelda part was also pretty well done.
Overall I have to say I thouroughly enjoyed watching this =)
vakerorokero @ Dec 18th 2005 9:59PM
This thing made me realize that most of the Nintendo-generation gamers are adult people now... I think it is great, especially the part of Tetris, when the start sing it didn0t get it was tetris until the starting moving down like falling pieces. Also listen to the crowd reaction when they start "Legend Of Zelda", I bet this thing wasn't on a video game event and everyone know what it is!!! It's nice to look back at your childhood and teenage years, right before the next console wars. remember "Mortal Tuesday"? I didn't like Mortal Kombat that much, I prefer Street Fighter, but I remember everyone getting it For the Super Nintendo, and playing it that night. Like Frank Sinatra said: It Was A Very Good Year...

Heh, I wonder if anyone else seemed to recognize the Earthworm Jim bit in it. None of my friends picked it out. Took me a minute too, but then it clicked (mostly due to OCR mixes). Interesting stuff.

This is SOOOOOO last month.
chadwick359 @ Dec 18th 2005 9:59PM
heh, that was pretty cool, not amzingly well done, but still fun to watch.
Geez @ Dec 18th 2005 9:59PM
Yeah I was linked to this a few weeks back, great stuff, certainly takes me back 20 years and in a good way. The Zelda and Tetris songs, were from memory, vey good.
But I didn't recognise the EWJ part, I'll have to dig out the old Megadrive, play the game and give this another listen :D
Jamie Gaines @ Dec 18th 2005 9:59PM
Forgive my stupidity, but what was the second song that they were doing, right after the Super Mario theme but before Tetris? I didn't recognize it. Could someone help a brother out?
Wilfredo Cruz @ Dec 18th 2005 9:59PM
Yeah I thought it was awesome myself it could've been a little better at the mario parts though
And the songs between mario and tetris was dr. mario first, then the battle stage from Super mario bros 3, then the song for when mario gets a powerstar, then tetris
anyways I was in a chorus and I would've loved to do this piece It was cool
