Lock up the children, because Black & White is coming to the Nintendo DS and the Sony PSP. The eerily engaging God-game from PC-land will soon be available on the go, letting fledgling Masters of the Universe train their giant apes anywhere, anytime. The idea of B&W in my palm is really intriguing. I was one of those who thought the original was onto something big. It seemed like a great way to get close to your main character — by having him do your gentle or wrathful bidding of his own "free will." The controls were a little weird, and the gameplay was thin, but the AI was a sight to behold.
I can say one thing with authority. I have both the DS and the PSP, and it is crystal-clear which console is going to get B&W in this household. Whine all you want PSP fans (of which I am one). Would you rather pet the creature's tummy (and toss innocent peasants) with a thumbpad or a stylus? No-brainer.
