If you thought Half-Life 2 was one of the best-looking games of all time, you're in for a treat. Valve is going to be offering an HDR Half-Life 2 level soon, and, if these fan-created screens are any indication, we may be in for a hell of a visual treat.
What's HDR? High Dynamic Range is a lighting process that makes objects and surfaces pop out. Some may complain that it just gives everything a rubbery look but, as the screenshots on the other side of this link prove, not if it's used correctly.
We have a feeling Valve will use it correctly…
