Quake 4 announced for Xbox 360

Id Software have announced that Quake 4 will be coming to Microsoft's new toy.
Nothing major to the announcement. There's the obligatory E3 preview coming up on the 18th. First game to use the Doom
3 engine, developed by Raven etc… It's the usual teaser to lead up to something big at the expo.
What a week. You can take that to mean whatever you want it to mean…

I hope Quake 4's single-player mode's story has a great ending. Doom 3, although brilliant graphically, had an ending that was a much bigger letdown than the ending of Halo 2. The story Doom 3 sets up is so amazing, that when they don't follow through with a well-thought-out ending that ties up all the loose ends, you're disappointed. But I'd still recommend Doom 3 highly, regardless. It really scares the crap out of you.

Ack! I have not reached the end of doom3! Well, now that I know the ending is a letdown... I did't believe a friend of mine when he said the game will scare you. D is totally correct - it will scare the crap out of you. Play it late w/o lights on.
