Baseball is probably the perfect sport to simulate.
Everything is governed by numbers. This is probably why the Out of the Park series is so popular among a certain
portion of baseball fans.
Gamespy have a preview of the upcoming new version. It would be nice if Gamespy could get it right, though. At the end
of the article it says Out of the Park Baseball 5. This is funny, given I'm routinely playing OOTP 6 now, and have been
for a year. Several names have been thrown around for the latest game so far. OOTP: Franchise Edition. OOTP 2K5. OOTP
7. A name is seemingly not set in stone yet.
The game has recently been delayed until 2006, supposedly. Regardless, it's looking good. Even if it has been
shoehorned into the Football Manager interface. (The project is now under the Sports Interactive umbrella.)
