A word of warning first. The linked article
contains spoilers for Matrix Revolutions. Yes, it's been out a while now, but as someone who loathes spoilers of all
kinds, if some soul out there has yet to see Revolutions, far be it from me to point them somewhere that will spoil it
without warning.
That aside, Morpheus is no more. He has taken the proverbial dirt nap in The Matrix Online. The "death" came in one of
the regular events where the ongoing story of the game is advanced. However, The Matrix being what it is, it may not be
a permanent demise. Users now have to solve the mystery. So the big guy could well be back to spout more philosophical
nonsense.
Needless to say this has absolutely no bearing on the upcoming Path of Neo game.
