Project Gotham Racing 3 pics
This is more like it. If you want to see some nice Xbox 360 eye candy, check out these screenies on DailyGame. The high-rez pics may be renders, they may be game shots. Quite a riddle, huh? If you've got your critical eye on, move along. But if you don't mind being naive, dream away!

I can't really call it, it doesn't look as sharp as the obviously pre-rendered trailer microsoft showed during their conference w/ the three cars, but it's even better than the footage they showed that looked like it was in game. maybe, maybe not, we gotta wait till it drops.

finally Xbox will get a racing game with Gran Turismo graphics *-)Catching up!!!

I am admittadly a big fan of Sony, but Microsoft already has GT graphics in Forza.
Kev @ Dec 18th 2005 8:45PM
Forza does not have the graphics if GT (in the realistic look sense, anyway). Don't get me wrong, though, I'm Xbox and Forza all the way.
I reckon the pictures are probably pre-rendered footage of what they hope to achieve, like Killzone 2 was. I would be surprised if they could get graphics like that on their alpha kits. The final game might look as good as that though. Car games are known for having truely unbelieveable graphics.

If these are not rendered... they speak for them selves (and me).

i would love to say they're realtime (As the graphics in full auto and gears of war speak volumes) but the footage i've seen of this in motion tell me it's prerendered. if you look at the framerate of the videos, it looks like it's around 24 frames, which is the usual frame rate for cinematics, and an odd place to shoot for for in game graphics speed.
Reggie Jack @ Dec 18th 2005 8:45PM
aegies -what the fuck are you talknig about?
how can you possibly tell what framerate it's runningat, when most of the video thats come out of this game, has been from videocameras pointed at the trailer at e3, and even any videos that came from the source, have been re-encoded and re-encoded who knows how many times, and depending on how they were captured, may not have even been at the same speed as the original video?
I'm not saying you're wrong or right, but your reasoning is incredibly suspect.
