If you have a PS2, you probably couldn't give
a damn that GTA: San Andreas is coming round the mountain again, and rightly so. You've been there, you've done that.
However, we have to think of the less fortunate. Those who own other systems.
Okay, so it's not every day the PS2 gets the exclusive on a game for this long, so the PS2 crowd are entitled to be
smug. At least until we see that Xbox and PC owners have a smoother, more rounded GTA: SA experience coming.
While the overall gameplay is the same, the game has been tweaked, to take advantage of the increase in graphical
capabilities. There's also custom soundtracks, too. Only this time, it's not just MP3s. It mixes them with the often
hilarious adverts from the games radio stations. Nice touch! (The preview mentions replays, as if they're a new
addition, but both Vice City, and the original GTA3 had them on the PC.)
So while the PS2 crowd, such as myself, got the first slice of pie, it's ultimately that same crowd that's gone home
just a little bit hungry.
Hands-On with GTA: SA
