Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima
recently sat down with Boomtown to discuss MGS4. As expected, Kojima wasn't willing to say much, but he did elaborate
on the new "no place to hide" motto—and yes, MGS4 will still be a stealth/action game.
Things get interesting when Kojima starts talking next-gen. From his perspective, each of the three consoles represents a steak dinner:
"If the game creators and the users want to have a great steak for their anniversary, they go maybe to PS3. But if they want great dinner, great steak with their family, a little bit more casual during the weekends, they might select Xbox 360. Or why not have a great steak at your house everyday, they might choose Revolution."
Hmmm… so what are all those vegetarian gamers supposed to do?

I don't get his analogy though, long day and all that, or it may even be insane ramblings - but he's still a legend and can get away with the odd dodgy analogy.
Hmm, now all I have to pray for is Sony making a last ditch move remembering me, the humble gamer, and include a games only machine and I'll be sorted.

I think that we're probably talking 3DO for those poor schmucks. I mean, strictly speaking, vegetables are what *food* eats.

(Joystiq is the new slang word for rubbish)
But its not meat - something is killed for food - just because it isn't classed as meat - you use it as an excuse - meat is good for you - proven by scientists - you need meat - you people are a bunch of jokers!
