Nintendo World store impressions

If you're itching to get a good look at the new Nintendo World storefront in New York City, check this out.
RedAssedBaboon has a little tour, with pics, and impressions of the shop's first week. All in all they liked what they
saw, though the place seemed a little sparse in some areas. I look forward to heading there myself this weekend. They'd
better have downloadable DS content or I'm calling the manager to the mat.

I'd be interested to know how many times you can find the word "Nintendo" in the Nintendo World store. From the look of the photos, I'd guess well over 200.

Couldn't help but notice the +18 ad on the right of that page.
That's a pretty nice store, though.

It's nice to see such a large company as Nintendo taking a leaf out of Gizmondo's book. After all if they are now seeing the potential in having a high street face to their business then it just goes to show that the original launch for Giz wasn't as bad as some think.

sorry to disappoint you, but there was only downloadable software on the first day. We went the Thursday after the grand opening. I'll have to admit, I think the design of the place is quite good, but there is simply too little DS content to demo and the demos weren't that great.
As for the GC stuff, that was not too bad. But there weren't too many attendants to help you out.
One thing that was sorely missin was a sample unit of the new mini GBA, even just having one in a glass case would have made the store more complete
