Halo 2

Well, this is a nice treat to wake up to. According to Gamespot, Halo 3 is on pre-sale at Gamestop. The retailer has the 360 title listed for a June, 2006 release at 60 bucks. They also list DOA VolleyBall 2, Theseis, Metronome, and [eM] for the 360 (11/01 release dates and 60 bucks each).

Hah! Cause we all trust game retailers to announce acuarate release dates. They guess them, and change them all the time. Although, the date does seem pretty acurate according and coresponds with the rumors, i am not going to hold my breath until i see an anouncement on bungie's website

I heard Halo 3 release same day as PS3, Does that mean PS3 gonna launch June 2006 in U.S?
I guess March 2006 in Japan.

I hope the story for this one isn't as short or (and in all respects) as bad. The game was rushed... Multi-Player is good, but the story mode was a disaster. TAKE TIME WITH THIS ONE GUYS!!!

I worked in one of their stores a few holidays back and the listings they had were off 9 times out of 10.

Calm down. All first party games made by Microsoft for Xbox 360 are selling for 50$. That includes Halo 3 and Perfect Dark Zero and many other games. Only third party games are going to sell for 60$. This is the same for PS3, so to the people who said they won't buy Xbox 360 because of the game prices, then you can't buy any system, since it is going to be like that for all of them.
