In a move that some will find quite depressing, the voice actors, who had been threatening to
strike,
have decided against it. Long live wooden,
uninspired video game voice work!
The threat had been rumbling around for a while now, but the votes didn't warrant a strike apparently. Now the voice
actors are stuck with a new contract where they will ONLY get $695 for four hours work. Hard to live on that wage. To
pick a voice artist at random, just check out Kath Soucie's
credits.
I think I can safely say most of us are in the wrong business.
