Pimp my Ride can never be taken seriously, since they never attached weapons of mass destruction to the cars. The day they take a Chevy and outfit it with rocket
launchers and semi-automatic weapons, is the day I start recording it.
Sadly, we have to take our vehicular carnage where we can. It's a genre that is largely bereft of action these days.
If you think of games involving cars with weapons, only two spring to mind immediately. Carmageddon, and Twisted Metal.
There have been others, like Vigilante 8, but for the most part, we get our cars without firepower. The most offensive
the cars get is when flame flickers from the exhaust.
Enter Full Auto, one of the probable debut titles on Xbox 360. The physics looked a little ropey at E3, but there's
still time to tighten that up. Worth Playing has a preview of the game. Nothing Earth shattering, but certainly enough
to keep you wet with anticipation if you'd rather fit an M16 to your car than a set of alloys.
