Halo 3 rumors to be taken at "face value"

From what I've played in both Halo CE and Halo 2, the yellow dots are allies. I've never seen any green dots.

There are a lot of really good ideas from Slasher X, Danny Sullivan, and Linda and anyone else that's come up with good ideas. But the sad thing is that unless you can somehow mail or contact Bungie, the ideas wont get to them. If they could, the game would be one of the greatest games around.

One thing that I think makes the game good is the music. If you listen to the music, I think it makes it fit to what it goes to. Personally, I like the music in the fight in the Mausolium of the Arbiter by Breaking Benjamin. If they could put music into Live games. The music in the Arbiter level when you fight in the Banshee was pretty good, (from Incubus). All the other music is good as well.

So many different things could happen in Halo 3 that you could have a good chance of assuming almost anything. I believe that the first Halo that is found in Halo CE was the newest of the Halos because sparky said the Library was the only one that could float.

I think that for the most part, the brutes are done for. Thier leader is dead and pretty much most of them are dead. Why isn't there any flood brute combat forms? I think they would be very strong. And in the "Conversations in the Universe" booklet in the limited collector's eddition, they speak of another alien race. I think its something stronger than the hunters, because they haven't used it yet. Wherever the Ark is, it's very dangerous and can kill everything in the galaxy, so the Master Chief, Arbiter, and Truth will be involved in it. The Prophet of Truth thinks that if they activate the Halos they'll all become gods. Why would he think something like that??? He's a bit crazy if you ask me, crazy for power. They betray the Elites, want to activate the rings, which obviously he doesn't know about. Their will probably be a level where you kill him, but i think it will be harder than killing Regret. The new alien race may guard him.

Ok, This is what I got so far. There will be a new weapon to a sword, except it is human, sort of like a machete, never runs out, but is half as strong as a sword. Jackals will be betrayed by the Prophet of truth. The red oracle and the blue oracle will have a disagreement and get into a war with sentinels. The Prophet of Mercy (Looks to be the oldest prophet and second in command of prophets comes back as a flood prophet and uh oh! Because a prophet is now a flood it will kill prophets when halo is activated because the prophets have become a host to flood. (I'm not completly sure but they'd probably be killed anyway.)This all followed by a new movie called The prophet strikes back, (hahaha just kidding and that was a star wars pun) Finally The hunters will gain new abilities like using vehicles and new strategic moves.

A couple more things... I think tarturas should come bak as a flood. It would be so retarded yet so funny. I don't care if you say no to this idea...I think we all know this will never happen. If you could fly pelicans (the favoured vehicle) and the Phantom(my favourite) oh and well maybe the phantom too (sounds of crickets chirping in the backround,hahaha). Oh and L-gus who is right above my comment, it is true, I think that Bungie has a secret weapon of new species that they're hiding in case of emergency. One last thing it would be really cool if when you go bak to Earth you could fight with the admiral (The head of UNSC). To finish Bungie, PLEASE GIVE US MORE VEHICLE OPTIONS!!!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hey sorry, I was just reading over my message above and I forgot to say some things right. The vehicle with the cricket chirping right after it is NOT A PHANTOM Because I love those things but it actually is a Shadow the big things in the level outskirts while in the driving tunnels.When I said bungie I really meant the old covenant (Prophets, Brutes, Jackals) I know i've left quite a few comments but anyways I would also like an easier way to get cool weapons on Halo 3 like the Scarab Gun (By the way which hones everything except scarab, but even sort of hones that) and the more famous gauss smg. Please ppl reply and i'll send you some feedback (Probably positive) back with some new ideas i've figured out or thought of. White elite out (argggggggggggggggg!)

In the level Metropolis, you can actually use the Scarab Gun. Although it is a very big pain to get it, it destroys EVERYTHING. With about a second of fire it destroys Wraiths. Just think of the mess when used against common grunts.

The shadow seems to be all right, but the best part of it is the turrent. If you ever climb in and use it, it shoots out a tremendous amount of plasma, about 50 times as much as the regular shielded plasma cannons. Just take the unshielded blue turrent and make it into a shielded plasma cannon with the same rate of fire and that's what you've got.

The question I have is why there aren't any brute combat forms? Are they just not sentient enough? Anyways, if there were, there would have been some in Halo 2, around the level High Charity.

To the Original white elite, do you actually know that is his name, or did you just make it up? I like your ideas you created and I think they should have more vehicles, especially flying vehicles, like the Pelican and the Phantom. That would make an awsome level just like Outskirts where you would be able to deploy your own marines around to other parts of the area and be able to coordinate effective attack procedures and take back the parts that have been taken over by the Covenant.

I believe that for the most part the Covenant is gone. Yes, they are still around, but if you take away Truth you have nobody in power, and the Elites and Brutes are blowing each other up and High Charity is gone now. So, the Covenant doesn't stand much of a chance against the odds of the Master Chief and the Flood.

What I find incredible is that the Master Chief could be considered the one that did all this to the Covenant. He was the one that killed the Prophet of Regret, which led to the betrayal of the Elites, he was the one that had the Arbiter become what he is today, because if he hadn't blown up Halo, the Arbiter wouldn't have come around. The master chief saved Cairo Station, which saved the admiral and a bunch of other people, like Cortana, and himself. He stopped the Flood on the first Halo, and now he's going to hopefully (and probably) save the day by killing Truth. The humans are only alive because of him.

I have one last question, does anybody know when the fourth Halo book is going to come out?

You can actually use a Scarab gun in the level Metropolis. It's very powerful and can destroy tanks in about 1 second. It's very fun to use but extremely annoying to get.

The ideas that you've come up with, White Elite, are very good and I have a question for you. Is that really the name of the Spec-Ops commander? If it is, how do you know? Anyways, I like your ideas.

The one idea that I've had for some time is this. If you have Live or know anything about it, you know that there's a headset you can talk to the other people with. Why not be able to use that in campaign sometime? A lot of the time my allies do very stupid things like run into a wave of needles and carbine shots and is blown away by the heretics, or fights some unstoppable creature that they cannot kill no matter the amount of SMG fire they put into it. I would love to be able to communicate with them, to tell them what weapons to use, to tell them to either flank the enemy on the left or to shoot whenever I tell them to, and all that stuff. It would make battles a lot more interesting and it makes it to be like you're the commander, and not that you're just there along for the ride, being an extra gun. You could also have the ability to fly Pelicans and/or Phantoms to go on missions that require you to stratigically place your allies in certain places to take over a place infested by enemies.

I truly believe that the Covenant is gone. The Elites are broken up and many are dead, the Brutes have lost their leader, the last remaining Prophet is going to die, and their main place, High Charity, is wiped out by the Flood. The Covenant don't stand much of a chance here. I think in Halo 3 the fate of the Covenant will be revealed and it wont be nice at all.

From what I've seen and what everybody that has played Halo and Halo 2, you have to admit that the Master Chief is the one that saved humanity. For starters, he got Cortana off The Pillar of Autumn safley, he saved all the marines, he saved Captain Keyes, he found the Silent Cartagrapher, he found the Control Room, he didn't do much in 343 Guilty Spark, but at least he got out alive, he got the Index, he destroyed the Pulse Generators, stopping Halo for some time, he blew through the largest amount of Flood and Covenant that I've seen, he blew Halo up, if you read the books he did a lot of stuff both before and after Halo, he saved Cairo Station and the admiral, he helped a lot of Marines in Outskirts, he destroyed the Scarab, he overall took out a Covenant army and killed the third most powerful Prophet in the Covenant, he fought through endless battles in Gravemind, and he fought through more of the Flood and boarded the Ark. Now, that would show up on a resume. He is the main reason why the Covenant is falling apart. If he hadn't killed the Prophet of Regret, the elites probably wouldn't have been betrayed, if he didn't destroy Halo, the Arbiter would probably not be around, and if it wasn't for him, Halo could have been activated. And now in Halo 3 he's gonna kill Truth and save the day. He is incredible.

Why does everyone say that Halo 2 sucks? Bungie focused mostly towards the multiplayer gaming. And who the fuck cares if the storyline is bad, the levels are fun to play. Halo 2 kicks ass!!!

I keep seeing comments under mine about me being the original white elite, so I thought I'd come back and tell you, I don't truly know the name of the white spec-ops elite L-Gus but by far hes the best character besides Master Chief (My choice) I like your ideas L-gus they're pretty good. I don't know if many of my things will become true but if they do that's great. 1 last thing... Many people have said this and I myself am begining to believe it...Halo will be a saga They have 1 and 2 and 3's coming out within 2 years and possibly a fourth one. Well if not a saga atleast a trilogy. Alright c-ya later( All of the Original white Elites messages have been translated into English so that you could understand him).

I just had to put this in, Think about this, The Arbiter was in charge of the original fleet that attacked the first halo. He failed became the Arbiter. The new spec-ops elite controls a fleet now and possibly could be turned into an arbiter if he fails and if the covenant were still together. Arbiter dualing. My final thoughts like usual are that a new weapons will be made. Actually atleast 3 weapons. I've thought of a few including the flame thrower, The knife (Mentioned on I think my first letter) and the Organic Grenade (which I've actually done. If you want to see the sticky frag grenade search my gamertag Garretto and tell me you want to see it.)

You can use the Scarab gun, but not the Scarab. This is the really long version of how to get it, and also you can look on a website, I forgot what the url is, but it shows you some hidden things in Halo 2, like skulls, and the Scarab gun. This is what you do. First, start Metropolis, probably on easy so you wont be killed by the enemies easily. Second, kill your allies, they will destroy the banshees that you will need to use later on, so make sure they are all dead. Now, go along and blow up everything you see except the Banshees. When you get to the tunnel, destroy the Wraiths, but once again, not the Banshees. Now, use a weapon, probably a plasma pistol or your Battle Rifle, and take a few shots at a Banshee. Lure it into the tunnel. Make sure you don't destroy it, and make sure you don't die yourself. Now, lure it all the way to the end and right before the loading message comes on, board the banshee. If you are too early, the banshee will be shot out of the tunnel and you will have to lure it back in again, which will be a pain, and if you are too late, the banshee will dissapear. Now, once you have the banshee, fly out of the tunnel and head straight to the double bridge at the very top of the level. Not the one you just crossed, but the double bridge. Once you get there you will see a plasma rifle floating above a exclamation point that is orange. Grab it. It may look like a plasma grenade, but it is actually the Scarab Gun. Use it, have fun. Trust me, everybody, you can use the Scarab Gun!

i think the if bungie could make one major change to halo 3, it's that you should somehow be able to control a squad of marines or elites (? if you're the arbiter again ?) using the controller or headset. That way, when a line of five brutes (which i really hope there are more of) comes crshing through the door, you can tell your marines to hide behind pillars and then simultaneously assasinate all of them. There could be levels where the objective was to keep all your troops alive. This could be adapted in Xbox Live with a game mode that lets each player to have thier own troops, to order around as they like. Of course, this whole concept may give the player too much to think about at once, and find themselves getting eaten by the Flood while trying to tell your troops to run for thier lives. Damn, those flood creep me out. Does anyone else get tense in campaign when you're about to enter a long hallway infested with combat forms, and all you have is a sword with 38 power left?

As far as Multiplayer goes, New weapons, New&all Vechiles, all races and species should be playable with there own stats and specs, about them(refer too comment 131 for an idea) Also, the 50+ players is an Awsome idea, I mean we're talkin squads, platoons, full on, badass shit we're talkin here. Carrer's wouldnt be a bad Idea either(the higher "xbxlive" lvl you are could effect your rank and how many people that follow your orders. Imagin Flyin pelicans, Platoons gone airborn, banshy and human air born fighter crafts for escorts! Its blows my fuckin mind!!

As far as Story Goes, will someone explain too me what the arc is, and why is do you think cortana is an enemy? I mean I beat both games in like no time and I read the books but I didnt pay much attention soo feel free to fill me in. Also Im thinkin master could get some infused BIO/ALIEN/HUMAN armor for the final seqeul. Im talkin some Kool shite. Accompanying master chief would be some fellow spartans, to tear up the town!! Some Kick ass storyline extras would make it Flippin Awsome. Also I think that bungie getting it done in the short time that they have isnt a good Idea. I would way rather wait another year and have them redo the game. Referbish it, down to the slightest idividual sun reflections off water, to a physic clean up, back to the tiny hairs on evry soldier mustache, hair, and extrmeities!!! how the hell can you say Halo 2 sucked? alright maybe the story line was a little worse and shorter but the overall gameplay blew halo 1 out of the water. Halo 2 online was simply amazing , im still playin halo 2 online over any of the xbox 360 games out now, Perfect dark sucks ass, quake is cool but whats with the hyperspeed when playing online. Honestly- if bungie improves on Halo 2s graphics, gets us some new maps, gets a much better storyline, some new weapons, more players on live, ai bots, and a map editor, I'd be happy. I agree that Halo 2 had a crapy soryline but the multiplayer was really good. Now i already own a xbox 360 and im saving for a PS3, but as long as bungie improves on the weaker parts of Halo 2, I'll be happy. Although i am skeptical about how soon it is already coming out. im hoping it will be ok!

I think that in Halo 3, SPARTAN 117 should be able to use everything, like the jackal sheild, and pilot ships. It would also be cool to have a pistol as a side arm, and then have two other weapons. When your carrying duals, and you want to switch toa sniper, or BR or something, I hope that you don't have to drop that second weapon
