The Beatmania series has been running for many years, going back to the PS1. Amazingly, unlike
that other rhythm game, Dance Dance Revolution, Beatmania has never
seen a US release. If you wanted it, you had to import a Japanese version, and there have been many.
Not anymore. A US release is coming. For those who have never had the pleasure, this is not another mat dancing game.
Consider it DDR for a game controller. (You can use a gamepad, or buy specialist controllers.) Though really, that's a
gross simplification.
There mere fact alone that Beatmania will get a release we don't need to translate is cause for celebration.
