I played this at E3 and spoke to one of the Crave PR people about it. Basically it's a poker game with a Career Mode in which you start in your aunt's basement with some poker buddies and move up to being a major card shark in world-class casinos.

It's an interesting idea and adds some replay to what would otherwise be a standard poker game. PS2 and PSP versions are playable online and PS2 players can complete online against PSP players and vice-versa.

Very similiar to the DS version of World Championship Poker, I would assume. In the DS version, you play a character as he moves up in the poker world, gaining more money and gaining access to different casinos. You can buy stats, clothing, etc...

I played the GBA version for about 30 minutes; to say it sucked does no justice to the huge suckage contained in such a physically tiny cart. The twist tie on the Hefty bag holding my cat's poop has better AI than that game did. I seriously, seriously hope that the "2" means "This one's playable."

Been done before... kinda.

On the NES/Famicom there was a series called Casino Kid. You went table to table challenging various blackjack/poker players in a very Final Fantasy type format.
