With all the tedious hype going around the new consoles, it's nice to see Gamespotting chime in
with
an examination of that most annoying of breeds, the fanboy.
I myself have grown especially tired of the constant whining from certain Xbox owners who think that, because their
console can produce better graphics than the PS2, that makes it an inherently superior console. I'm a PS2 nut, but I
have no beef with either Xbox or Gamecube. The fact is, you should play the console that has the most games YOU want.
All the polygon shifting in the world doesn't mean jack if the games are garbage. This has been especially evident in
the Gran Turismo 4 vs Forza Motorsport "debate". (AKA pointless argument.)
Gamespotting, the last one no less, writes an open letter to these annoying little people. Enjoy!
