We reported this a week or so ago, about the Northern
League baseball game where the first two
innings were going to be played on the Xbox, and then the real teams
would pick up the rest of the game, with the score and everything intact from the Xbox innings.
Well isn't there always someone to spoil the fun. The league commissioner has said that he can't allow a regular
season game to be played in such a fashion, and it challenges the integrity of the league. (To hear this at a time when
all of baseball is under a cloud of steroid abuse amuses me greatly.)
Now the game will still take place, but the Xbox part of the proceedings will have no effect on the final score.
You will not be taken out to the Xbox game
