Let's get physical (with physics)
So this entry has probably the most boring and blocky picture we've ever posted at Joystiq, but we don't care. The subject of this post is all about movement, smooooth movement. Meqon Physics has four demo movies of it's future Software Development Kit for physics in games. Whilst the objects they play with aren't very interesting and look a bit gray, the type of physics they demonstrate is awesome. Check out the Gooey demo and imagine a sticky grenade in Halo made out of that stuff. You wouldn't want to get that in your hair.
[Thanks, Dave]

I would say the Joystiq Lego logo would easily be the blockiest! ;)

I guess the next-gen systems are going to be very adept at dog-shit modeling.

meqon has been doing some really fun physics stuff for a while. check out the jeep demo, it's fun to run down the soliders. :) http://meqon.com/downloadarea/downloadarea.php
