Some stills from the set of the upcoming movie adaptation of Silent Hill. Mercifully, a certain
movie
director, who has ruined several other video
game movie franchises, doesn't have his untalented mitts on this one, so we can expect more than the usual load of old
Boll'ocks we've come to expect lately.
Nothing really earth shattering, but some nice production design is evident. Probably the biggest name attached to the
project is Sean Bean, who is best known for being used for Uruk Hai target practice in Fellowship of the Ring, and yet
still managed to appear in the sequels.
The movie is due out next year. By which time Uwe Boll will probably have churned out another seven awful movies.

LaughingTarget, did you even read the post? the first paragraph is a reference to the fact that Uwe Boll has nothing to do with it! this is a long-established fact, and it's the reason we all have hope that the movie will actually be good.
as for the photos, the street scenes look great - imagine some fog, and they really capture the look of the game.

I still love Parsons ability to instill deep negativity in every post. This post is about a Silent Hill movie, and for some reason he feels the need to slam Uwe Boll who has NOTHING to do with it. Just post the news Parsons. You're a tool and need to stop being.

A well done Silent Hill movie would make my spine tingle. I doubt it will be done, however. I correctly done Silent Hill movie should be rated NC-17 and be so horrifying that most people cannot finish watching it. I expect "Alone in the Dark" but a little dirtier.

Thankfully Uwe isn't marring this one, yet we have another Hollywood screw up on our hands. Has anybody stopped to notice that Harry Mason, the title character is not even in the movie? Hello?! Do I hear Resident Evil? No Jill Valentine or Chris Redfield in the first movie there; when will tinseltown quit f***ing with good stories?

#8 Each Silent Hill game had a different lead character and story so I dont see any reason why the movie cant follow that guideline.
