IGN talked with the producers of Battlefield
2: Special Forces and have learned some new details about the expansion due out later this year. In additions to
new maps, new gear, new gadgets, etc., they are also hoping that by focusing on night scenarios they will create a new
strategy to the already popular multiplayer game. It'll be interesting to see how they implement the night vision
goggles along with all the other new toys, such as zip-lines. While they said they want this expansion to focus
more on the infantry, they are also adding "six new armies, ten new vehicles, and twelve new base weapons." Wow.
Fall 2005 cannot come soon enough.
[Thanks, Andrew]
