Microsoft further strengthened its future 360 lineup by buying out the exclusive rights to use Marvel-branded characters in MMOG games. The first title from this deal is not expected until 2008, so it's difficult to predict just how important this win is for MS. At any rate, the exclusivity game is becoming more and more frustrating for consumers who will either have to sacrifice certain franchises or simply buy all the next-gen consoles. It's also a game of patience, as it's looking like next-gen games are gonna take upwards of four years to develop. With this in mind, we can't expect much from either MS or Sony's launch titles. But Nintendo remains the wildcard, since the Revolution's focus is not on power, but ingenuity. Let's just hope the 3rd-parties stick with them.
