The Scots are getting together up in Edinburgh on the 10th-14th of August to
show 21 screenings of the latest talent from the gaming world. Big name game developers will be showing off their
latest game creations for the first time, including Molyneux's 'The Movies'. There will also be a bunch of
opportunities for gamers to meet up with their favorite game devs, as well as see how they create games at a couple of
"Insider's Guides" screenings devoted to this topic.
There's also an event called 'Go Play Games' that will let gamers to get interactive with the latest games as well as
compete for prizes. If I wasn't on holiday when this is happening I'd head up there and do a Joystiq report on the
festival. Are any Scots/Brits/Paddys planning on visiting the festival? If so, drop us a line in the comments and we'll
bribe you to take some pictures for us!
[Thanks, Lee]
