In a fairly logical move (except for those
who are very impatient), SCi Entertainment Group, the new owners of Eidos, have pushed back the release of the next
Tomb Raider and Hitman games to give the developers more time to make a game of higher caliber and quality, or in their
words, to "maximize their hit potential." Expect to wait until next year to see these games. While Hitman
has always been a consistently pretty good franchise, Tomb Raider definitely could use a hit after the abysmal Angel of
Darkness and, from what has been seen the of the game, it looks to at least improve the look of Lara Croft.
Here's to hoping the quality of the entire game improves with her.
So, as it stands, Tomb Raider: Legend and Hitman: Blood Money will be released next year for all home consoles not named Game Cube.
