Picture the scene; this kid's dad comes home from his first day working at Microsoft's next-gen console lab with a
big brown box. The kid rips open the box, takes out next-gen console and gets his friend to take pictures of him
playing with it. That's exactly what happened when the son of a Microsoft 'Regulatory Compliance Manager' (which I'm
guessing has something to do with checking the 360 doesn't blow up when you plug it in) found out his dad had a Xbox
360 dev/test kit. He posted an image of his smiling face playing with the Xbox on the Gamespot forums, conveniently
forgetting his dad's non-disclosure agreement. Apart from this interesting story the kid also disclosed that that
console has a massive external power supply, obviously to keep the actual console size in check. Hopefully his dad
isn't too hard on the kid when the Microsoft heavies turn up at their door.
[Thanks, Justin]
Kid fires up dad's Xbox 360

Oh, that and we don't have a very clear shot of the controller which from that vantage point could very well be an S painted white.

Well, at least everyone's an expert, and no one's sharing opinions, only facts.

Gordy, the original thread was removed by a mod after the kid begged and begged everything to be removed. Of course, that was after joystiq and engadget (among others) got ahold of it. Apparently it made it through the grapevine pretty quickly.

Why (behind the pillow) are two plugs in the socket if the tv is plugged in across the room?
Maybe he has an Xbox under that pillow.
I modded my Madcatz controller...spraypainted it white (I opened it of course, it isn't hard).
This is just some kid trying to be cool, the 360 look so fake thier anyway...

DW everyone he may have an XBOX 360 but whats the point, it doesn't work! They only need to test if the cable burns out right? so if anything it will sit there with the picture on the screen for hours on end and possibly do a systems run through to max out the proccessor, this willbe equivilent of a systems Defrag on your home computer, just alot longer maxing out all the proccessors at once. no games will be able to be played on it otherwise the guy they sent it to could make too much money. he just has an xbox behind him with a madcats controller like people have send before. and tbh why would u sit in a blank room with a rubbish TV a pillow playing a game you can get on xbox if you have a xbox 360? if your dad really was testing a xbox 360 you'd be loaded and wouldnt have a crap tv in the house.

if the pictures are real and the xbox is conpleat or near compleat then why doesn't the light on the front of it light up and why is the pillow the only other piece of furniture in the room except for the book on the counter thing i think this picture is definatly a marketing plow that wasn't even needed by xbox

the reason he has a small tv is because just incase the xbox 360 burn out it might distroy al nice 50 lcd or plasma

Its a computer place and you would think a trillonaire would have a robot to test shit like blowing up things wouldn't he? Then to top it off you mean the people making the 360 can't tell if they made a bomb or a game system the is really sad:(
The PS3 SUCKS and so does the revolution It is all about the Xbox 360!!!! :'D
