This is a party game that everyone can enjoy, whether you grew up in the eighties or just watched VH1's "I love the
'80's" over and over again in marathon. Sony has released a partial song list (19 out of 30 promised songs) from
their upcoming karaoke rhythm game "SingStar '80s," set for release on the PlayStation 2 sometime near the year's
end. This list, albeit only partial, has something for almost everyone, from the hair metal balladry of Foreigner
to the Brat Pack favorite "Don't You (Forget about Me)"; from the very catchy (Nena's "99 Red Balloons") to the very
weird (Frankie Goes to Hollywood). I never played any rhythm game other than Dance Dance Revolution, but after
reading this song list I can't help but remember the karaoke scene from Lost In Translation and now I have a strange
inclination to sing tone deaf renditions of Elvis Costello songs into a microphone.
