Nintendo is planning to atone for its
lackluster summer release schedule by shipping three heavyweight titles in one month. While everyone is preparing
for All Hallow's Eve, expect the Big N to bombard stores with three top-notch games every two weeks throughout the
month of October. Pokemon and Fire Emblem are finally getting their console RPG debut in the US on the 3rd and
17th of October, respectively, so Game Cube fanatics better set aside quite a bit of time for the RPG's you have
greatly craved.
So you beat Pokemon and Fire Emblem, then what are you going to do? Get off the couch and dance, of
course! One week later, on October 24th, Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix will be stepping its way into the
home, nearly finalizing DDR's dominance in the world market (all that's left would be the portable market, and if it's
possible I expect Konami to find a way).
Nintendo fans rejoice, and save up your dollars now.
[Thanks, Lee]

There already are portable DDR games. They're terrible, but they're there. I half-expect Stylus Stylus Revolution for the DS someday, though.

Gonna go out on a limb here and say that gameplay for Pokemon and Fire Emblem are more important than graphics.
Graphics whores need not apply.
As for nobody caring about Pokemon any more, you should check your sales numbers. Pokemon continues to sell millions with every game. Last I checked, over Pokemon's 10 year lifespan they have sold 20 million more Pokemon games than Madden has sold in its entire 14 year run.
At the ripe age of 10, Pokemon can no longer be considered a 'fad'. It is part of popular culture. Kids who started playing when they were 10 keep playing today. They'll also introduce the games to their kids one day.
I got pokemon for my kid years ago and became hooked. The games are deep with tons to do. I also find it a great family activity and something my kid and I share a common interest in.
So speak for yourself when you crap on someone else's game because it does not look the way you want. Pokemon and Fire Emblem are FUN, and that's why we all play, right?
If you are playing to have the best graphics, and not to have fun, you are polluting the game pool.

I remember when I was around 12-13 years old and I first played Pokemon, I loved that game so much and I bet even now those old Pokemon games are still just as fun as when they came out all the time ago.
I only had Pokemon Red and i got it when it first came out, never really bothered to buy anymore Pokemon games because it was considered to be "Childish", Damn I wish i still had my Pokemon red :(

Ah, the days of Pokemon. Wait, what am I saying? It's still the days of Pokemon. It's still a pasttime when a new version comes out, due to the fact that 90% of my friends go out and buy the game. It's like a gigantic bond. The people that play together, stay together.
As for Fire Emblem, I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl over this. Hell, I'm still playing the GBA versions. They're just that much fun. Always loved a good strategy RPG *is taken back to the days of Ogre Battle* Ah, good times...
