Aarrrr Matey! A recent survey by
Brunel University (West London) revealed that the 84% of teenagers (ages 15 to 18) in the UK possess pirated software,
while 60% regularly download it. Why, you ask? Well, the obvious answer is cost; but, as it turns out, most youngsters
are frustrated by delayed release dates behind the US and Asia. Well shucks, someone just needs to teach these kids a
little patience. Ready? Deep breath! Now, just sit and relax, breathe… breathe… breathe…
[Thanks, bandersnatch]
Vast majority of UK teens turn to piracy

what's the reasoning behind the late release dates in europe?
are releases and launches staggered mainly because of limitations to stock?

adobe software has got to be one of the most pirated things out there. it's impossible to get together $200 for a student copy of photoshop just to play with. and a 13 year old usually can't convince their parents (who probably know nothing about computers) to spend that kind of money on a "toy".
