oh joy, all my fucktard cheezedick commercial shit-trance superclub dreams have come true. i can race the laughing stock of the dance music industry in a video game. hey oakey, are you going to actually race the car yourself? or will you treat it like one of your dj sets and just stand back for 8 minutes per record acting like an egotistical douchebag until its time to "mix" the last 8 bars of record 1 with the first 8 bars of record 2?

if you are excited about this, then your taste in music sucks. when can i race against hellfish, producer, diplomat and radium?

i actually think this is pretty cool, i went to a rave where oakenfold was mixing at last month. he was actually really good, i was surprised, because i was disappointed after the release of bunkka. he did real good at the show. i was surprised and my respect for him has grown. hopefully i'll be able to play him on live!

i am not a fan of oakenfold, but would you rather him stand there and pretend he is messing with the controls on the mixer? If it only takes the fool 8 bars to mix 2 tracks together, I'd say thats pretty good.

Hey rookie, you obviously dont know what you're talking about.

When you are only mixing for 8 bars, you dont really have to have your pitch locked in too tight because the 2 tracks will only be overlapping for a brief moment.

A real DJ can get a track cued up in no time flat, lay it in with the current track for minutes on end, and if he chooses to, add in a 3rd deck, use the EQ, use the filters and keep the set moving instead of sitting on one shitty long ass track with 2 breakdowns and 2 crappy snare-roll buildups.

Please go see Richie Hawtin work or listen to the Decks Efx & 909 album.

People who don't understand how DJing works are the reason Oakenfold is popular. Big anthemic chord progression + snare rolls = a sound that was tired 10 years ago, but lives on in the superclubs.
