Desinged for portability and for gaming on a PDA or smartphone, the Chainpus Gamepad reviewed
by BargainPDA.com caught our eye because it sports such a unique shape.
When it's opened, a smartphone device is supposed to nestle snugly in between the two open flippers.
The mobile gaming market probably isn't going in the direction that the folks that made this product think it is. Phone design is becoming less standard as convergence results in funky shapes to accomodate extra functions such as picture taking and text messaging.
Instead, what will likely happen is games will become more one-thumb friendly at the same time as the devices themselves start tailoring the hardware interface to facilitate gaming. Nobody wants to carry around extra hardware if they don't have to.
