In a time where many feel that video game magazines are falling behind up-to-the-minute game sites, who says they
can't have a sense of humor? In the September issue of GamePro, which ironically hits newsstands this week (it
makes the magazines appear up-to-date if they pretend its from the future), inside the annoying plastic wrapper, one
will find an issue of Mad Magazine entirely devoted to satirizing the video game industry. Expect farcical ads, a
feature on the '50 Worst Things about Video Games,' and yes, even a stab at the Hot Coffee issue.
I have to say, it's a very smart move - I'm looking forward to picking up a copy, and I haven't read a game magazine
in almost a decade.
[Thanks, Rich]
GamePro and Mad Magazine team up; hilarity ensues
