UPDATE: According to Tammy Schachter of EA's
Corporate Communications, Brando's voice will be in the game,
but a voice actor was needed for lines that he had not recorded in his one session. Thanks, mybrainonfire.
Marlon Brando (d. July 2004) was not in good shape when he attempted to record dialog for EA's soon-to-be-released The Godfather the Game. According to reports, the oxygen tank that he was using to breathe interfered with the quality of the recording sessions and he didn't even finish the script. EA has finally decided to chuck those tapes and use a voice actor who can imitate the Vito Corleone character that won Brando the Oscar that he famously refused to accept.
