Namco readies for Xbox 360 launch & more
Namco recently published its fall release
schedule, highlighted by two Xbox 360 titles, Ridge Racer 6 & Frame City Killer—the latter is a
futuristic action game that will use the Unreal Engine 3. The Ridge Racer announcement comes as a bit of a surprise,
seeing as how the game's existence wasn't made public until just recently—which brings into question the quality of the
title if it's being rushed out for the 360 launch…
Other highlights in Namco's fall lineup include:
-
Soul Calibur III (PS2, Oct. 25)
-
We Love Katamari (PS2, Sept.)
-
Hello Kitty Roller Rescue (GC, Aug. 16)
-
Bounty Hounds (PSP, Oct.)

wow, more games for the already huge line-up :]
i really, really REALLY hope ridge racer 6 follows the style of the last "ridge racers" for the PSP. The game was simply FUN. Im not usually into racing games but ridge racers just blew me away.

Namco needs to quit playing around and release a PSP version of SoulCalibur. That would sell out in a quarter of a millisecond. Bounty Hounds? RIIIGHT. Re-releasing old arcade games on PSP... uh, no thanks! SoulCalibur for PSP. Do it.

How in the heck is RR6 a 360 launch title when they just now showed the first "screens" (a model of one car...looking perfect, a RR universe car, but still, just the one car model)...from that, I'd guess RR6 would be more likely done around PS3 launch...

As long as they don't port Hello Kitty game over to X3 6 0 I will be fine. Then again I dont buy namco games other then Soul Calibur and damm for me Soul Calibur 2 was a let down. I mean 4 years later Soul Calibur on DC play and look almost I dentical. I think Soul Calibur looked better on the DC VGA adapter. For me a 4 years later means totaly different. Like DOA.. Put different arenas, add tag team or something. Use different songs. (i know its only a fighting game but still) too allot like Soul Calibur. I guess Soul Calibur was that good that the 2nd one wasnt that good for me.

releasing frame city killer is all right considering that it has been in development for a while but ridge rr6 it's kindda early for that.
