A recent poll of X-bit Labs' readers revealed
nearly equal interest in the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Out of 1500 polled (mostly English-speaking), 23% planned to
purchase a PS3, while 20% were going to buy an Xbox 360. A dismal 5% expressed interest in purchasing a Nintendo
Revolution. Perhaps the most interesting figure however, is the 46% of respondents that reported no interest in adding
a next-gen console to their collections. If this is the case with the consumer gaming market at-large, then there's a
lot of room for any or all of the console developers to gain serious ground.
