Play Doom on your iPod

Doom on your iPod PhotoFile this under the category "What's the point?" then change your mind and move it to "What a crazy and wonderful idea."  If you have an iPod Photo and want some portable gaming (which, if you bought an iPod photo, means you probably didn't have enough money for a portable game system so this is indeed a treat), the folks at iPod Linux have discovered a way to put Doom onto an iPod as a fully-functioning game.  Granted, the controls sound a bit hard to get used to (and there is, as of now, no way to back up or strafe), but you have to at least credit them for getting it to work this much.  This is very impressive, and the good news is they are still trying to work on making this a perfect conversion.
