Resident Evil 4 hit the GameCube hard back in January. And despite there being millions of PS2 owners that haven't
yet experienced this masterpiece, there isn't much buzz over the PS2 port set for US release in October. Perhaps in an
effort to attract newcomers, Capcom has added a few exclusives to the already complete title. The PS2 version will
include a series of new chapters titled, "Separate Ways", which casts Ada Wong as the central character that players
will control—an extension of the "Assignment Ada" mission included in the original release.
In addition, several new unlockable weapons have been tossed into the mix, including the PRL412 laser cannon and the
Gunpowder Bow Gun. PS2 gamers will also be treated to new costumes. While there has been some speculation about a
visual downgrade in the PS2 port, early reports have shown that the original graphical presentation remains in tact.
Don't sleep on this one folks.
