Lionhead artist Mark Healey had an idea so crazy you would think it might be a new show on Adult Swim: combine
string puppets, ragdoll physics, kung-fu, and hip hop. The result is Ragdoll Kung Fu, which is soon be available
via download on Steam. The basic idea is that you control the puppet with your mouse to control the shirtless
ninjas as the bounce to the soundtrack. How exactly you control this is hard to explain, but the
trailer makes it look simple to engage and
pretty fun. Overall, the game looks pretty cool, and will probably be cheaper than your average game since there
is no real marketing or packaging fees - just a simple side project made by one man releasing it as a download. I
hope more games follow this trend of making their games downloadable - not having to package the game would bring down
the costs immensely.

This little advertisement pushed me over the edge to uninstall Steam. I cannot stand the way they use it as a pop-up marketing tool. Nobody cares about the fact that Valve cannot handle release dates, so why don't they stop telling us when things are "Coming Soon" when they won't even be completed in a years time?! That's about 10+ odd updates (one a month) just for DOD:Source in it's preproduction lifecycle. Pathetic!

Uhh, I didn't hit post twice, I received two confirmation e-mails for the same object but with different ID numbers. Weird.

You can disable the welcome screen in the settings. They're really not even advertisements usually, they're just news updates. I actually like them, personally.
