Peter Molyneux will probably forever remain in video game lore for being one of the most creative video game
developers, and his latest project is no exception. In The Movies, you play the role of the movie studio god-like
being, more or less. You keep your stars happy, you make the movies you want, hire and fire people, and basically
make your movie business thrive. The idea of the game is very ambitious and we won't know how well it's executed
until the end of October, but the reaction so far is fairly
positive. Right now, if you pre-order a copy of The
Movies from Best Buy, you can receive a free copy of StarMaker, which allows you to create your actors before the game
comes out. The program allows you to alter virtually anything you could imagine to make the perfect actor (or,
likely, a facsimile of yourself). The pre-order is $10 and will be up at other stores as the months
progress.
