No, it's not a dirty dictionary for
the DS, but rather, a dictionary for the DS with a dirty name. "Touch Dic," which will be renamed before
release, comes equipped with English-Korean, Korean-English, Japanese-Korean, Korean-Japanese and Korean-Korean touch
screen options. If it's not obvious to you, it's being developed and released (September 9) in Korea. No price has been
set, but a special bundle, including a DS and the dictionary, will be sold in limited quantities for 225,000 won (or
roughly $220). Pricey.
Potentially offensive DS dictionary set for release

"Mommy, Daddy I wanna Touch Dic"
The outcry from politicians will be horrendous. Jack Thompson will probably have a 7-year boner from the publicity. It would be hilarious to see how the reaction would be.
But interesting to see the DS will be getting more and more "novelty" use items rather than just games. The PDA-like functionality could set it aside to be alot more than just a console. I expect pocket organizers and such to follow suit and jump in on this piece of action.

I have the "rakuhiki jiten" (uh... the "easy look up" dictionary) for the ds and I really love it! If not for one minor, nay major, flaw I'd use it before my eletronic japanese dictionary; you can't input kanji only kana... If they'll make that possible in version 2 (if there'll ever be one that is...) I'd say it will be of much more [everyday] use than my current electronic dic (hey, they used it first!).

actually this isn't nintendo's first electronic portable dictionary. A long while back, the GB (remember that spinach thing) released translation books, dictionaries, and an organizer.
