Dean Takahashi was given the task of reviewing Nintendogs for the Mercury News. He didn't do it. Instead, his 8-year-old daughter forcibly took on that responsibility. Takahashi writes, "Our daughter is so addicted to it she gets grumpy if she doesn't get to play it and is always saying she has to turn on the DS to feed it." Nintendo already knows they have a smash hit on their hands, but do America's parents? You might not see grown men flocking to the stores to cop a virtual pet next week, but come December, the DS & Nintendogs is gonna be atop plenty of holiday wish lists.
