Atari's Timeshift first person shooter release date has been pushed back to a spring 2006 release for PC and a
summer 2006 release for the Xbox version. Atari have also announced that they'll be making an Xbox 360 version of the
title which will ship around the same time as the PC version. Timeshift's gameplay takes inspiration from it's
name, as it'll allow players to "shift time". Hopefully this'll mean we can do cool things like go back in time and
take away cherished childhood toys from hardened soldiers and then laugh as they swell up at the sight of their darling
dolly from 1972. If it goes halfway to satisfying my twisted appetite for fps games it'll be a hit. Either way you have
to marvel at the irony of a time travelling shooter being delayed. Couldn't they have just speeded up the time in the
Saber Interactive developers offices?
