Now, bow your heads in reverence and ask the Gods to send you a few
extra dollars. Towards the end of June we posted an article on an eBay auction featuring
776 NES games for sale. You may have thought that was
amazing. You may have thought that it could not get any better. You may have thought that was weak and that you
expected more. Well, here is the auction to end all auctions, the One Auction to rule them all. Don't ask me how, don't
ask me why, but someone has an auction for around 2,080 Nintendo games. The list goes as follows:
-
1,313 NES games (82 boxed and 54 complete)
-
530 SNES games (38 boxed and 27 complete)
-
237 N64 games (10 complete and 8 boxed)
Currently the bid is up to $7,900, which is only about $4 per game – a great deal if you plan on living in your
bedroom for the next 180 years or so. However, I must warn you that the shipping and handling will be $450 – but,
honestly, what's another $500 when one is willing to spend almost $10,000 (and I wouldn't be surprised if it hit
$10,000) on the ultimate cartridge collection.
The auction ends at 11pm EST Wednesday. Just…wow. Spectacular. And that picture to the right is just the NES
games.
