Polyphony Digital, creators of the Gran Turismo series of racing games are kicking the hype machine into action, with the announcement that the imaginatively named Gran Turismo 5 will be out by 2007. Kazunori Yamauchi, the boss of said development company, has said the game will be "100 times more detailed [than Gran Turismo 4]". Quite what he's basing his definition of detail on was not revealed. At least GT fans will have something to think about after the impending release of the PSP version of GT4, due in a few months.
