Mario Kart DS -- leaked ad script hypes WiFi network

Game Insider has gotten its hands on the
script for an upcoming Mario Kart DS TV spot. The ad is supposed to be filmed this month and then released a
month after that, reaffirming an early November release date.
The ad itself is a quirky series of events that hypes the DS's future global WiFi network. If Nintendo can manage to
get this network running smoothly and release a killer app like Mario Kart in time for the holiday season,
expect to see a serious boost in DS sales. When is Sony gonna get with the program?

or maybe when Sony realizes that people arent going to pay that much for a handheld. Maybe the technology is just to expensive right now for handheld. Just becuase you can do something doesn't mean you should.

I can't wait for Mario Kart and Animal Crossing.
It really makes you wish Nintendo got with the program earlier and had Mario Kart DD online.

Just the idea of being able to play MarioKart online anywhere theres a hotspot really intrigues me.

I WILL get the DS just for this game. I had so many hours put into Mario Kart (over 8 years of gaming, and always heading to my buddy's place to have 4 way battles!). I will LOVE the WI-FI battles now! Imagine!

When did they say Battles would not be WiFi? I think you're wrong, Jonathan 8. I think the only online disappointment is the fact that a max of 4 people at a time, but 8 when it's "in the same room".

Damn, my old roommate filmed this commercial a couple of weeks ago. If it's edited as scripted, I think he'll be the guy about to throw a chair at the end.
