Gamestop have jumped onto the bandwagon by offering Xbox 360s for pre-order in a big way. They've created a massive
bundle of pretty much every launch title, as well as a bunch of accessories, which people can pre-order for the insane
sum of $1,199.83. The bundle includes 11 games (which, I must remind you, are not out yet) as well as a Xbox 360
package kit with Xbox Live! and 12-month warranty. On top of that you have a play and charge kit with battery for
on-the-go gaming.
If anyone is insane enough to dump $1,200 on a console that doesn't even have a confirmed release date yet, then they
need their head checked. The only way I'd pay half that amount for a pre-order launch console is if Bill Gates
himself came and delivered it riding bareback on a unicorn. And I don't see a "mythical-equestrian Bill Gates" delivery
option. Message to game retailers everywhere; give us some real offers!
